Fairhaven Festival

This Memorial Day weekend, visit the Fairhaven Festival in celebration of the Ski to Sea race. Known as “Bellingham’s Biggest Street Fair,” this community-favorite event promises live music, food vendors, a beer garden of local breweries, cideries, and wineries, and an artisan market featuring over 60 local vendors and businesses. This all-day event is sure to deliver street party fun that is not worth missing out on!
Ski to Sea Race

The 51st annual Sea to Ski race comes to Bellingham this month! Since 1973, this multi-sport team relay race has brought together racers who compete in cross-country skiing, downhill skiing/snowboarding, running, road biking, canoeing, cyclocross biking, and sea kayaking. The race begins in the Mt. Baker Ski Area and ends in Marine Park of our own Historic Fairhaven District, and while registration and waitlists are full, you don’t need to be part of the race to get involved in the festivities. Be sure to explore the race course and other weekend celebrations surrounding this longstanding event.
